This film was made on the occasion of the exhibition 'A Dialogue with Objects' at the Gardiner Museum, Toronto, on display from 19 October 2023 - 21 April 2024. Odundo's first exhibition in Canada and the largest presentation of her work in North America, the show brought together works spanning the artist’s career, and presented these in dialogue with art and artifacts from many time periods and cultures.
Filmed on the occasion of The Fitzwilliam Museum’s exhibition 'Magdalene Odundo in Cambridge', on display from 5 October 2021 - 24 July 2022, Odundo speaks on the selection of global ceramics from Cambridge collections and her own work included in the exhibition.
In this film, Odundo speaks to The Hepworth Wakefield's Chief Curator Andrew Bonacina, discussing some of the thinking behind the selection of artworks, artefacts, places and ideas in the exhibition 'Magdalene Odundo: The Journey of Things’, displayed from 16 February - 2 June 2019, along with the diverse influences that have shaped her own personal journey.
