In his new untitled sound installation, Steve McQueen shows us a place where both the vulnerability and strength of human existence are on audible display. The physical immersion of the audio landscape presents a narrative of exhaustion within the confines of the space. Severing the connection between sound and imagery, the physical engagement and intimacy of the sound produces a wider context beyond the gallery walls.
