Amie Siegel’s Panorama (2023) will have its Italian premiere on Friday 14 November at Lo schermo dell’arte 2025, in the presence of the artist, and the composer, Jeff Murcko.
In Panorama, Siegel examines the journey of natural history specimens from field collection to museum diorama display, revealing how Western scientific expeditions extracted, preserved, and transformed cultural materials, shifting narratives of value, power, and representation in museum practices.
